Our Nurses

Jane - Registered Nurse - Team Leader

Jane joined Takapuna Health in September 2016 and has been our Lead Nurse since December 2018. Jane came to Dodson with extensive experience as an Accident and Emergency nurse at White Cross. Jane works full time over 4 days and runs asthma, diabetes and cervical screening clinics as well as leading the nursing team and ensuring the practice meets clinical guidelines.


Dianne - Registered Nurse

Dianne joined Takapuna Health full-time in 2016 following a move north from Christchurch. Dianne has extensive nursing experience, with a special interest in paediatrics. Dianne runs clinics for asthma, diabetes and cervical screening as well as working closely with the doctors to ensure the day to day needs of our patients are met.


Cassandra - Registered Nurse

Cassandra joined the Dodson Medical team in October 2018. She graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2013 and has lived on the North Shore all her life. Cassandra worked in residential disability and for the New Zealand Blood Service before joining Dodson Medical. Cassandra works fulltime, is an Authorised Vaccinator and runs clinics for patients with asthma and/or diabetes.


Natasha - Registered Nurse

Natasha joined us in October 2021.  She previously worked in at Wellington Children's Hospital prior to the birth of her daughter.  Natasha was born and raised on Auckland's North Shore.  


Chi Qi - Registered Nurse

Chi joined Dodson Medical Centre in May 2022. She has many years of cardiothoracic nursing background and has worked in both private and public hospitals. In these roles she cared for patients following open heart surgery. Chi has been living in New Zealand for 18 years and graduated from WINTEC in 2007. Chi is employed two days a week but also covers other days occasionally. She is both an independent vaccinator and independent smear taker. When she is not at work Chi is kept busy as a mother to two young children.


Janine - Registered Nurse

Janine is a New Zealand trained registered nurse who began her career in Wellington, before embarking on a 21 year life in the U.K. In the U.K. she worked as a nurse in emergency nursing, ICU, nurse led clinics, prestigious Harley street clinics and primary health, while continuing extensive, post grad training. Her passion is in primary health care. She enjoys developing relationships with patients, their families and helping them throughout their health journey, as a practice nurse. Janine is an an independent vaccinator and independent smear taker. She is married, lives on the shore and her twins go to school in Milford and Takapuna.


Leo - Health Care Assistant

Leo is originally from the Philippines and has been living in NZ since 2013.  Leo joined Takapuna Health in May 2022 as a Healthcare Assistant.  He has worked in numerous roles in the healthcare industry in New Zealand and overseas, specifically community and public health, as well as in the primary health sector.   He lives in the North Shore and is married with two children.
